Installation
EPPIC does not have an installer as yet. Just download the selected zip file and extract to a location where you have write permission. This will create a folder ‘EppicGUIvX.X.X’ (the X’s represent the version numbers). To launch EPPIC, double-click the eppicGUI.exe file within EppicGUIvX.X.X. We have also provided a selection of example models for download – again just unzip to your preferred location.
Freeware versions
We have created a limited capability freeware version of EPPIC which may be used for any purpose provided that the user agrees to the terms and conditions displayed on start-up. Note that if you did not obtain the freeware version from this website, you should consider the possibility that you have a cracked version. We would strongly advise against running cracked software – the cyber security risks to your home computer or business network are significant.

Command-line-interface versions
The below are command-line-interface versions which can be run from a command prompt, supplying the name of the model text file as the argument. This enables the use a Windows batch (.bat) file to run a number of models sequentially without user input.

Paraview
EPPIC writes vtk output files that are able to be opened and visualised with third-party software such as Paraview (http://www.paraview.org). Paraview is a powerful tool for visualising model results and creating images and animations that convey the significance of the results. The graphics window within EPPIC is designed to assist with model creation and quickly checking current model output – it is not intended to be an advanced visualisation tool.
