Simphysics was founded in 2014 by Greg Collecutt. With two engineering degrees, a PhD in computational physics and 11 years experience in engineering consultancy, Greg has the knowledge and skill to tackle almost any modelling or simulation problem.

He then completed a PhD in computational physics at the University of Queensland before joining BMT WBM in 2003. In his 11 years with BMT WBM Greg has focused on CFD, FEA, DEM and developing custom models requiring scientific programming skills, and also has test and measurement experience. Greg also developed BMT WBM’s GPU based flood modelling software TUFLOW GPU.
